Sunday Sermon, Jan. 24, 2021

This weeks sermon is centered on the story of Jesus’ first recorded miracle from the book of John. When there was not enough wine at the wedding feast Jesus was attending, Mary asked her son to help, and Jesus turned water into wine. Building on this story, Pastor Tom Hartshorn considers how much is enough in our own lives. Acquisition of material goods and power may be tempting, but be careful what you wish for: these acquisitions will not always give you what you need.
After the sermon, Director of Music Joey DiGuglielmo plays a medley of hymns, and he invites worshipers at home to Google the lyrics and sing along. The hymns are:
Blessed Assurance,
It Is Well with My Soul,
‘Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus,
Savior, Like a Shepherd Lead Us, and
He Leadeth Me.
