Visual art has been an important part of worship for centuries, especially in times when most people did not know how to read or write. Lessons of the Bible were taught through the artwork in stained glass windows, as well as in paintings, sculptures and wood carvings. Christ Reformed UCC has excellent examples of Bible-themed artwork in our many stained glass windows.
